Anna Belle Rogers 91, passed away Dec.16, 2017.
She was born at her grandmother’s house outside Garryowen, MT on March 11, 1926. She worked on the family place until she attended beauty college. Her parents were Evin and Bertha Clawson. She had one older sister, Frances who preceded her in death and a younger brother, William who lives in Oklahoma.
She married James F. Rogers on Nov. 20, 1947 in Hardin, and they lived in California and Arizona before moving back to Hardin when they retired.
They had three children George Rogers who resides in Billings, Nan Ford and Loren Rogers who reside in Colorado Springs, CO.
Her husband, son-in- law Floyd Ford and daughter-in- law Janet Rogers preceded her in death.
She has seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Anna Belle was known for her involvement in many community activities including being President of the Senior Association and her work with Heritage Acres. She enjoyed coffee with her girlfriends, sewing, jig saw puzzles and baking, especially sweet treats. You could also find her at the Congregational Church as an officer and a member and always willing to help. Her presence will be greatly missed by all whose life she touched. Any donations can be made to the Cancer Society in her name.
A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 pm Friday Dec. 22, 2017 in the Hardin First Congregational Church. Inurnment will be held in March of 2018. Bullis Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements.
