1990 – 2021
Arron Lee “Arrow” Williamson, 31 of Billings went to the Other Side Camp on February 13, 2021. He was born in Crow Agency to Melvin Paul Sr, and Rachel (Hill) Williamson on January 18, 1990. His Crow name was Xaleé héeléen dúttachiish (Breaks in the Rain) given to him by his uncle, Harold Hill, Sr. He was a member of the Piegan and a child of the Piegan Clan. He was raised in the Lodge Grass area and attended elementary school in Lodge Grass. He attended Busby High School. He was a family man, wherever he made his home he worked hard, even though life was not easy he did his best to support his family. He was a fluent Crow speaker and a spiritual man; he actively participated in the Sweat Lodge, Native American Church and was a Sundance Warrior. He loved to sing and was a member of the Crow Song Doggs drum group. He loved to sing at powwows and ceremonies. He was a Crow Song Dogg for Life. He had a great sense of humor and always greeted everyone with a smile. He was a loving father and a loving spouse. Arron was known for his kind and generous heart and willingness to help out a friend or someone in need and was a wonderful son. Family get-togethers were very important to him, he always expressed the importance of remaining close as a family. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He loved all his nieces and nephews as his own.
He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Paul, Sr.; his maternal grandparents Elmer J. Hill Sr. and Mary Cummins; his paternal grandparents Dexter and Lorraine Williamson.
He is survived by his five children Tyler, Mary, Crystal, Erin and Sarah Williamson; his companion Ilene; his parents Rachel and Wayne; his brothers Johnny, Hub, Mel Jr., Jasper, Jack, John, Ell, Harvest, Justin, Michael, Harlen, Big Boy, Helmeg, Colton, Chase, Tyson, Gavi, Juanillo, Joaquin, Emillio, Johnathon, Tate, Shann, Oliver, Josh, Thomas, John and adopted brothers Sean Bauers, Shane Graham, Buzzy and Jeff; his sisters Mary (Francisco), Jon Pauly (Steve) Trudy, Olivia, Melveen, Leeanna, Amber, Angela Jon, Melci, Cassie, Elonna, Lucy, Dawn, Dominica, Shelby; his nephews Dante, Walker, Johnny, Jiggs, Joshua, Caleb, Gabriel, Paul, Cowboymix, Mathew, Vern and Ronnie; his nieces Jonelle, Theresa, Tylea, Tessa, Kammie, Jantesa and Feathers; his uncles Harold, Sr., Elmer, Jr., and Michael Hill, Sr.; his uncle/dad Tom; aunts Alma, Agnes, Tina, Jonella, and Angela Hill, Latonna Old Elk, LaVern Big Hair and Senora Jean Tushka; his extended family includes the Hill, Cummins, Williamson, Yarlott, Morrison and Medicine Horse. He was a direct descendent of Chief Grey Bull and Chief Sitting Bull. Our family is large, please accept our apology if we have not mentioned you in our time of grief.
