Barbara Dare Frickle

Barbara Colleen Ceno Dare Frickle passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 25, 2019.  She was born December 28, 1943 in Lubbock, Texas. She attended school in Lubbock, Texas and Albuquerque, New Mexico and she graduated from the DeWolf School of Cosmetology. 

Barbara accepted Christ as her Savior in 1974. This was the same night her mother, Wilma was Baptized. She became a lifelong student of the Lord Jesus Christ and her favorite book was the Bible. Barbara began drawing cartoons for her kids and studied art for many years, she became an accomplished artist.  

Barbara purchased her first Salon in Hardin and made many friends with her clients over the years. She enjoyed volunteering at her local church, The Chamber of Commerce and Custer’s Last Stand Reenactments. She was also involved in politics and the County Government.

Survivors include Rhonda (Glenn) Elhard, Cathy (Guy) Davis, David (Kristi) Dare, Dean (JoAnna) Frickle and Shelly (Michael) Smith; her grandchildren Andrew (Marie), Curtis (Hillary) Elhard and the late K. C. Elhard, Amber (Larry) Jones, Joshua, Marshall and Morgann VanDaele, Brandy (Tyras) Lawton, Hunter Dare, Valary (Ryan) Obert, Levi Frickle and Brooklyn Berg; her great grand-children Daniella and Luke Elhard, Gabriel Stahl, Camden and Kenadee VanDaele; Ellie, Myles Obert, Leedom and Lyum “Sugar Bear” Jones; sister Carrie Etta Dickens and brother Jerry Don Killian. 

She is preceded in death by her husband LeRoy; mother Wilma Sandoval and grandson K.C. Elhard.

The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice for their kindness and gentle care for our loved one.

Her funeral service will be Friday, February 1, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Bullis Funeral Chapel. Private interment at Terrace Gardens in Billings. Bullis Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements.
