Berry Ramon “Thol-Sape” Goodbird, 19, left us early morning September 28, 2018. Sno, as he was affectionately called, was born March 5, 1999, in Crow Agency, MT. He grew up and received his education in the Crow Agency area, graduating from Hardin High School on May 26, 2017. In high school, Berry excelled in football and wrestling. Following his education, he worked as a ranch hand with his close friends, Jonah and Noah Ten Bear.
Berry was a member of the Three Affiliated Tribes of the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation-Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara. He was a member of the Water Buster Clan and on his Apsalooke side a Big Lodge and child of the Big Lodge Clan, which he took pride in both cultures.
Great grandson of Raymond Good Bird and Emily Whiteman, John E. Wilson, Sr., and Luella Charges Strong.
As a young boy, Berry was his Uncle Dimz’s side kick. He loved to mechanic alongside his uncle and being a helper to projects.
Throughout his young life, he and his young brother Grant were inseparable. Berry and Grant had that strong brotherly love for one another; from sharing their Nintendo’s to graduating together.
Berry had a special glow about him. Everywhere he went, anyone who came in contact with him knew he always greeted you with a smile. He was known for always giving and showing respect to everyone.
Berry’s past time and hobbies were cruising with his friends, camping, listening to his favorite oldies such as Al Greene, Motown, and Country Music. He would check up on family, and make sure everyone was ok. He was always around to lend a helping hand.
