Curtis Dale Feller, 57, died in Hardin on June 11, 2019. He was born March 12, 1962 in Billings to Joseph and Verlene (Schmidt) Feller. Curtis received his early education in Billings attending Riverside Middle School through the eighth grade. The family moved to Hardin and he went to school at Hardin High School. After high school, Curtis worked for Koebbe Construction in Hardin for many years learning the concrete business from Ronnie Koebbe. After the closing of Koebbe Construction, he worked for Melville Ready Mix and then Empire Sand and Gravel. In 2002, Curtis took a leap of faith and began his own business, Feller Construction in Hardin and managed his business for seventeen years. He was passionate about his work and loved doing concrete. He always took time to visit with his customers.
Curtis married Pamela Stamm on September 21,1991 and they made their home in Hardin and later divorced. The couple had two children Austin and Chandale. Curtis loved his children and enjoyed fishing and hunting as a family. Curtis was especially proud to have his son; Austin join him in the concrete business. He considered his children his greatest accomplishment and was so proud to be their dad.
He was an avid fisherman and fished all the great spots in Big Horn County. He loved to hunt in the Pine Ridge area with his hunting pals; Scott Hurtung, Randy Stenerson, and Duane Heitzman. Back in the day, he hunted buffalo with his friend, Chipper Siemion. He liked hanging with his friends playing pool, listening to rock and roll, drinking beer and just laughing at each other’s jokes. He very much appreciated his mom’s cooking especially her strudla.
He is preceded in death by his father and his many aunts and uncles.
Curtis is survived by his son, Austin and his daughter, Chandale; his mother Verlene; his brother Rick; his sisters Debbie (Scott) Hartung and Roxanne (Guillermo) Renova; his nieces Ashlie and Amanda Hartung, Jennaca and Marissa Renova and his nephews José and Miguel Renova.
Funeral services will be Monday June 17th at 11:00 am in the Bullis Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at the Fairview Cemetery.
