Emeri Lynn Little Owl, 43, of St. Xavier, Montana went to the Other Side Camp on March 17, 2021 at the Billings Clinic with her family by her side. She was born on April 24, 1977 at Crow Agency the daughter of Thomas Little Owl and Myrna Rides Horse. Her Indian name Baaáchilash (Good Fortune) was given to her by her grandfather, Rapheal HeDoesIt. She was a member of the Ties the Bundle Clan and a child of the Ties the Bundle. She grew up in the St. Xavier area and attended schools at Pretty Eagle and Hardin schools. Emeri was an active member of the St. Xavier Mission Church where she was baptized and received her first Communion.
Emeri was a kind-hearted person and so loved by all who knew her. She had room in her heart and a smile for everyone. Her sense of humor would always bring a smile and she didn’t hesitate to give you a laugh. One of her favorite things she loved was being around her family especially her first cousins sharing stories, laughing and teasing. As a young girl, she was raised on her dad’s family ranch in the St. Xavier area and always considered herself a “country girl”. She loved riding horses especially her pinto kid horse, Sonny. One of her favorite memories was going on a field trip to Washington D.C. She worked at a call center in Billings as a customer service representative and did her job with pride. Emeri loved her children and grandchildren and maintained contact with each of them always happy to keep up with their lives and activities. She held hopes and dreams for all her children and would have given them whatever they wished for if she was able. She was a very simple person, always humble and wanted to be remembered for her kindness and love for her children, family and friends.
