In Loving Memory of Christian Robinson

Christian Pierre Robinson, Mestaema’ haahe “Ghost Friend” passed away October 25, 2017. He was born Feb. 3, 1992 to Tracy Robinson and Darwina Brien in Crow Agency.

Christian grew up on the family ranch in Ashland, attending school at St. Labre and graduating in 2010. After graduating he worked for numerous ranches and road construction.  He was a very hard worker and took a lot of pride in his work.  Christian loved to go hunting, fishing, playing sports and the one thing he loved the most was riding horses.  He excelled in rodeo at a young age, winning numerous of championships throughout the country. As a teenager, he won the All-Around Horse Trailer at Crow Youth series in 2006 and winning the team roping, steer wrestling and calf roping at various rodeos.  In 2012, Christian went on and qualified for the INFR Finals in Las Vegas, NV, in calf roping.

Christian met Misty Moore while attending school and was blessed with a daughter in 2010, TraciLynn Ronnie Robinson and later on he met Whitney Birdinground and was blessed with a son Christian Robinson Jr. He loved being around his children, taking every chance he could to play and spend time with them.

His grandfathers James Robinson Jr. and Paul Jay Bad Horse Jr.; his grandmothers Josephine Brien and Gwenda Lee, his aunts Cheryl Robinson Booth, Penny Stray Calf and Suzie White Hip, his uncles Myron Jefferson, Troy Whiteman, Clayton Big Hair and Willis Kills Night and his cousin Percy Robinson preceded Christian in death.

Survivors include his father Tracy (Cynthia) Robinson and mother Darwina Brien; his companion Whitney Birdinground; brothers Allen and Josh Robinson and Ty Fischer; sisters Cheryl (Goldmen Real Bird) and Sierra Robinson; grandfathers Harold Buster Brien Sr., Gordon (Berdean) Real Bird, Vincent White Hip, Victor (Donna) Small and Terrance Covers Up; his grandmothers Lorraine Robinson, Gail Fraizer White Hip, Ardeith (Clifford) Birdinground, Ardeth (Lloyd) Hogan Sr.; his uncles Ernie (Mary Jane) and Jimmy (Vickie) Robinson, Allen Fisher, Earl (Maria) Charette, Harold Jess Brien, Frances Springfield, Dale Birdinground, Barry Rock Above, EJ Storm, Windell (Melissa) Left Hand, Cliff Birdinground Jr., Cyle Roth and Robert Redfield; his aunts Michaelynn Hawk, Aunt TT and Toni Cuny; his adopted sisters Majeta Birdinground, Rachael and Tracy Spang; as well as his extended families including the Collins, LaForge, Covers Up, Hunts Arrow, Carpenter, Brien, Whiteman, Pretty on Top, Eastman, Fisher, Spang, Braine, Lone Bear, Moore and Bixby families.  Our family is large; if we have forgotten your name, please forgive us during our time of grief.

Traditional wake services will be held 6:00-10:00 PM Sunday at the St. Labre Mission Chapel. Funeral Services will be Monday Oct. 30, 2017 at 10:30 AM in Crow Agency Foursquare Church. Interment will follow at the Family Cemetery near Ashland.  Bullis Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements.
