Lisa Carmen Bellrock 45 of Hardin, went home to be with Lord on Dec. 28, 2017 at St. Vincent’s hospital in Billings, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on Aug. 21, 1972 in Billings, a daughter of Carson and Ava Bellrock. “Dassduu pesaah” (Sure Hearted) was given to her by Vera Half her clan aunt. Lisa’s clan was “Ties the Bundle” and she was a child of “Bad War Deeds”. She grew up in Billings, Hardin and Denver, CO where she graduated from South High School in 1990. She later attended Little Big Horn College where she received a certificate in Carpentry. But her passion was working with children. She worked at Crow Head Start as a teacher’s aide where she was loved and remembered by most of her students, she also worked at the Hardin Head Start until she became ill. She was a member of the Spirit of Life Foursquare Church in Crow Agency, but also attended Hardin Open Bible. Lisa lived her life to the fullest. Family and friends were her passion and delight.
Lisa is preceded in death by her grandmas Pauline Little Light and Clara Bellrock, grandpa’s Clem Goes Ahead and Raymond Bear Below, aunts Katie and Raynette Bear Below, Latonna Long Soldier, Ella Jean Cortwright and Ethel Tsosie, uncles Cloyce Little Light and Leston Bear Below, brothers Dion Bellrock and Leonard John Sun Goes Slow, nephews Cedric Not Afraid, Paul Dexter and Derrick Covers Up.

Our family is very large so please forgive us if we have left anyone out in this time of grief.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday in the Crow Agency Spirit of Life Foursquare Church. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Bullis Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements.
