Marge Tyler Power, 90 of Hardin passed away on February 19, 2018. She was born April 26, 1927 in Strasberg, ND, to August and Elizabeth Schawn Volk. She was raised and attended school in Strasberg. She married Don Tyler in Hot Springs, SD. The couple had six children. She married Glen Power in 1998.
Marge worked many jobs during her life and in retirement she enjoyed volunteering at the Big Horn County Museum. She enjoyed visiting with the tourists and working in the gift store. She was known as “Grandma T” by her grandchildren and even their friends. She was the best grandma who was supportive and encouraging of all their interests. She was truly committed to her family. Marge loved to work in her garden and raised beautiful flowers.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, her husbands, her sister Regina Lanfelt; her brothers Martin, Bill, Al, Bob and Mike Volk; her daughter Linda Slovack; grandsons Travis Small, Tyler Wobig and John Hunter.
She is survived by her sister Betty Summerfelt; her daughters Sharon (Ken) Wobig, Beverly (George) Garcia, Melody ( Marvin) Davis and Barbara (Tom) Bogunovich, her son Don (Christine) Tyler; her 13 grandchildren and her 21 great grandchildren, her step children Tina, Kevin, Matt (Natalie) Power; her faithful friends Loretta Flack and Jo Engellant; her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation has been held and services will be at a later date in the summer. Bullis Mortuary is entrusted with the arrangements. The family thanks the staff at Heritage Acres for their loving care.
