Marion Yvonne Mountain Sheep

September 23, 1987 – November 13, 2020

Marion Yvonne Mountain Sheep passed away November 13, 2020 in Hardin, Montana. She was born September 23, 1987 to Maurice Mountain Sheep and Danielle Walks in Sheridan, Wyoming. She was a member of the Big Lodge Clan and a child of the Piegan.  Marion attended school in Crow Agency and Hardin. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and her life partner, John I Lion Shows. 

She is preceded in death by her mother Danielle Walks; her adopted parents Frank and Agnes Frances Falls Down; her grandfather Maurice Mountain Sheep, Sr. and by Genevive Wyane Smells, Dara Lovato, Quincy Walks, Glen Alta BirdinGround and John Falls Down. 

Marion is survived by her children Isiah J. Lion Shows, Brodie, Melody, Kaya Jo, Jerome, Ariana, Isaiah and Reva, Danelle, her adopted son Edward Gets Down who she took as her own, her father Maurice (Mavis) Mountain Sheep; her sisters Kelly (Tyler) Nelson, Lila Mountain Sheep, Shaliyah (Maynard) Yellowrobe, Tisha (Torrie) Davie, Nellie (John) Dwarf, Nova (Kendall) Left Hand, Jennyrose (Wacy) Little Light, Jolynn Lavato, Olive (Bill) Smells, Destiny (Nick) Three Irons, Tera (Bobby) Lopez and Shannon (Garrett) Johnston; her brothers Gilbert Wolfe, John (Whitney), Terry and Taylon Mountain Sheep, Delbert, Gilbert Quincey III, Bryon, Cameron, Randell Walks, Landon Old Chief, Nyjoel Springfield, T.R. (Jennifer), Floyd (Amanda) Old Bull, John (Cheyenne), Owen, John Wayne Smells; her grandparents Jeanie Rose Alden, Lana Burlison, Julia Wolfe, Patty (the late Larson) Medicine Horse, Serena Bishop and Twyla Grant; her special aunts and uncles Tilton (Sarah) Old Bull, John (Sherrie) Smells, Joe (Dara) Lovato and Lawrence Big Hair. A special thank you to Linnell Lion Shows and Garrett and Shannon Johnston.  Marion wanted all her nieces and nephews to know she loved them all and sent a wish for all of them to be good and make her proud. 

Cremation has taken place as per Marion’s wishes.  Services will be held Friday November 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Crow Agency Cemetery.
