Barbara Ann White passed away peacefully on June 5, 2021, at her home in Wyola, Montana surrounded by her family and dear friends. Barbara was born to Henry Francis and Ruth (Gilbert) White in Crow Agency, Montana on July 30, 1934. She was a child of the Piegan Clan. She grew up in the Wyola area and attended elementary school in Wyola and graduated from Lodge Grass High School. She went to Haskell Indian School in Lawrence, Kansas graduating with a degree in secretarial studies. She worked for various corporations and retired from the Indian Health Service in Lodge Grass. Barbara had four children Robert, Laura, Vicki and William. She was an active member of the Wyola Baptist Church. Barbara loved to work in her flower beds, taking care of her home and sewing. She enjoyed making the garage sale rounds with her close friends and always spent time each day studying her Bible.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Henry White, Sr. and Ruth White; her brother Henry White, Jr.; her stepmother Edna White who raised her after the loss of her mother; her son -in- law Leonard Perkins.
She is survived by her sons Robert (Christina) and William (Kimberly) Turner; her daughters Laura Perkins and Vicki Stevens; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews as well as many children she loved and considered as her own.
Funeral services will be Friday June 11, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Bullis Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in the Lodge Grass Cemetery. Bullis Mortuary is entrusted with the arrangements.
