Abel Amari Not Afraid passed peacefully from the loving arms of his parents, Tamara Brien and JrWayne Not Afraid, into the loving arms of Jesus in Heaven on Friday, June 19, 2026, at One Health Bighorn in Hardin, Montana.

Abel Amari was born on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 1:20 a.m. at Intermountain Health in Billings, Montana.

Though his time on earth was brief, Abel Amari was deeply loved. He knew the warmth of his mommy and daddy’s love and touched the hearts of everyone who eagerly awaited his arrival.

He was welcomed into Heaven by his brother, Lyric, who greeted him with love.

Abel Amari is lovingly remembered by his parents, Tamara Brien and JrWayne Not Afraid; his brothers and sisters, Amaris, BrookLynn, Scarlett, Isaias, Emil, and Aria; his grandparents, Wayne and Cathy Not Afraid and Edward and Alfredine Brien; along with many grandparents, uncles, aunties, cousins, and extended family who will forever cherish his memory.

While our arms are empty, our hearts will carry him forever.

A graveside service to honor our beautiful baby boy will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Hardin Fairview Cemetery in Hardin, Montana.
