Albert Lee Chavez

“Shavie”, was a name he was given by the doctor when he was born, because he looked like he had a haircut already. That name held on to him his whole life. Albert Lee, his given name, was born August 24, 1962 to George and Judith Gonzalez Chavez. He passed away August 1, 2024 from an extended illness.

He started his working career with Triangle Motors as a wrecker operator, then he moved on to the “Big Rigs” hauling livestock, cement and grain. And most recently, he was hauling for Larry Dorn and Sons.

In Shavie's spare time he rode his motorcycle back in the day and loved snowmobiling in the winter with his good buddies, with his “Black Beauty” Dodge being his pride and joy.

He is preceded in death by his mother; brother Dean; mother-in-law Norma; grandparents; aunts; and uncles.

He is survived by his wife Lisa; his father George; brother Tim; and sis Roxanne; stepsons Geoffry (Miranda), Jason (Kelli); grandson Hunter; brother-in-law Ledale (Jolinda); nieces and nephews Ryan, Ashton, Todd, Tracey and Terra, Renee and Chanel; and greats Emily, Leah and Jaxon. With a great niece, great nephew and grandson coming soon.

And last but not least, all his good friends.

There is a Rosary at 9:00 am, Thursday, August 8 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hardin, MT, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
