Alicia Half Obituary

Alexia Delain Half, 18, and Alicia Agnes Half, 16, have embraced their angel wings and found eternal peace in their heavenly home. IICHIILIKAASH BIA, meaning Elk Women, was born on October 7, 2006. This powerful name was bestowed upon her by Darin Old Coyote, reflecting deep cultural significance and strength.  BAAEETITSHESAASH, meaning Not Stingy was born on September 27, 2008. This unique name was graciously bestowed by Francine Small, symbolizing generosity and open-heartedness with a name that embodies kindness. They were born to Jess and Mary Lou Shane Half. They are Greasy Mouth and Greasy Mouth Children. Their siblings, whom they loved so much, were Jessie Cash, Cyrus, Julian Addison Bessie, Aaliyah, Shelby, and Solomon.

Alexia attended grade school at Crow Agency Public School, Hardin Middle School and graduated 8th grade from St. Labre Catholic Academy. She was a senior at Plenty Coups High School and on track to graduate with the Class of 2025 this month. Alexia had a bond with her school counselor, Courtney Lauckner, who helped her in many ways besides academics. While in high school, Alexia participated in sports, but mostly basketball. While still in high school, Alexia received her certificate as a flagger. Alexia loved fishing and hunting, but riding horses was her favorite hobby. She helped and supported her dad and uncles to gallop horses and relay team. She also wanted to be a relay rider. She would help with branding cows which she looked forward to every spring with her grandparents Papa Henry and Kayla Sarah out at the home ranch. After graduation, Alexia was accepted to Montana State University in Bozeman to become a nurse. She also wanted to be a carpenter. Alexia loved working with her hands to create woodwork. One of her many projects was a jewelry box. She also wanted to be a nurse to help people. Alexia loved to be helpful, especially with family and friends. Alexia was full of ambition and outgoing.

Alicia attended grade school at Crow Agency Public School and Hardin Middle School. Alicia was a sophomore at Big Horn Academy. Alicia loved taking nature walks and watching the sunset. She loves taking selfies of herself and sharing them with her parents. Alicia journaled every day, especially bible scriptures. She kept the journal with her everywhere she went. Alicia was phenomenal at makeup. Alicia had a goal to go to Cosmetology School to be a hairstylist and makeup artist. She loved modeling and fashion. Another goal of hers was to be a fashion designer and model. Alicia loves sharing her jokes and crazy stories. Like her older sister, Alexia, Alicia was full of ambition and outgoing.

Alexia and Alicia's vibrant personalities and zest for life made them beloved by all who knew them. Their sudden departure has left a void in our hearts and the community, a loss that will be deeply felt for years to come. Their absence is a stark reminder of the preciousness of life and the impact they had on those around them. Alexia and Alicia were inseparable, where ever they went they were together and did things together. They had a loving sister bond. They shared countless moments side by side, engaging in activities that brought them joy. Their bond as sisters was filled with love and understanding, reflecting a deep connection that only they could appreciate.
