Andrew Half

Andrew Paul “Rooster” Half started his journey to the other side camp on June 9, 2023. Rooster was born on December 15th, 1995 in Crow Agency MT.  A son of the late Daniel and Elsie Half and raised at the family ranch. His biological parents Ira Left Hand Jr. and the late Nancy Half. Biitawua (Bell Rock) his indian name was given to him by his dad Dannyboy. This name was passed down to him from his grandfather the late Robert Half.  Rooster was a member of the Big Lodge clan and a child of the Piegan.

He attended Crow Elementary School and graduated from Hardin High School. He continued his education at Little Big Horn College where he attended for a short time and entered the work force. Rooster worked at Apsaalooke Nights Casino as a security guard and later at Hardin Family Dollar. He also lived in Billings with his friends for a time and was self employed.  He later returned home and enjoyed time with his family and many friends.  He enjoyed helping and made sure his mother’s house was in order. Including his nieces and nephews. He loved listening to music, dancing with friends and singing, he also loved watching anime with his sisters Ave and johnnie at night. Rooster loved spending and having good times with his many friends far and near. He was a free spirited individual who welcomed all everywhere he went and was the life of the party.
