Aubrianna Rose Bear Claw

Our much loved and cherished mother, daughter, niece, aunt, granddaughter, and friend Aubrianna Rose Bear Claw went to join her parents beyond those pearly gates on October 26, 2024.  Aubri as she was affectionally called was born on November 11, 1998, in Hardin, MT to Laura Jean He Does It and Michael Bear Claw.  She was a descendant of Chief Greybull and belonged to the Big Lodge Clan and a child of the Greasy Mouth Clan.

Aubri grew up in the Lodge Grass and Hardin areas with a large bunch of her cousin-siblings whom she deeply loved, cherished, and often looked out for.  She was a sweet, kind, and soft soul who at times could be a little bit rowdy but managed to maintain a wholehearted personality.  Although she could be somewhat of a homebody, Aubri loved to cruise around with her friends and/or sisters visiting and probably getting a dose of the latest gossip.  She was big on spending time with the family that she so truly thought the world of.  Aubri attended schools in Lodge Grass, Saint Xavier, and Hardin where she most likely made the abundance of friends she currently had before her passing.  In 2019, Aubri became a first-time mother to a handsome baby boy named Coty Cole and then again, in 2024 she gave birth to another beautiful baby boy named Michael Jean, whom she lovingly named after her late parents.  Aubri dearly loved both her sons and was working to become a wonderful  parent to them both.

She is preceded in death by her parents, great-grandparents, Joe and Laura He Does It, Sr., William Backbone, Peter and Mary Greybull, Sr.; grandparents, Clinton He Does It, Sr., Rosalie and Benny Hill, Joan Horn and Francis Bear Claw; sisters, Roselynn Red Horse, Jolyn Prettyman, Chezrae, Hope and Rashawnna “Shi” He Does It; brothers, Trevor Bear Claw, Waylan Bear Ground and Taylor He Does It.  Numerous aunts, uncles, cousin-siblings and grandparents.

Survivors include her sons, Coty Big Hair and Michael Jean Bear Claw, her sisters, LaShon Backbone, Keaunna (Erik Bird Hat). Maggie, Jaylen and Joni He Does It, Bradie (Isaac) Mendoza, Whitney Bulltail, Marcia “Princess,”Nicole Bear Claw and Bernadette (Leon) Bear Tusk; brothers, Tristan Castro, Joseph Little Light, Nehemiah, Joseph (Korra), Nathaniel (Theroline) He Does It, Connor Pretty Weasel, Michael “Cougar” Bear Claw, Jr., Ramone White and Colt Little Owl; Aunts, Jolena He Does It, Karen, Kim (Ralph Chavez) Yarlott, Tonyann (Jon) Bell, Sr., Gwendolyn (Terrance) Covers Up, Margaret (Clinton) Stops, Shanna (Ty) Ten Bear, Leslie (Ervin) BirdinGround, Amber Morrison, Autumn, Lissa and Jolee White Clay and Venessa (Daniel Theissen) Sandoval; Uncles, Robert (Helen Caplette) He Does It, Wesley (Gerald Black) Jefferson, Jr., Alvin (Letonne) Yarlott, Gary (Agnes) Gardner, Darrell Jr., Barry (Kelly) Bright Wings, Willie (Barbie Jo), Robin (Kallie) Old Bear and Kevin (Bree) Sandoval; adopted parents, Henry “Hanks” and Raelene Hill-Rides Horse; grandparents, Rosaline Old Bear and Darrell (Barbara) Bright Wings, Sr., Helen Old Coyote and Rebecca Stops.
