Betty Redwolf Blackrock, age 87, of Hollywood, CA, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, in Hollywood. She was born on November 7, 1937, in Crow Agency, MT. She was the second oldest of 13 children to Edward Redwolf, Sr., and Juanita (LaForge) Redwolf. She was a member of the Greasy Mouth, a Greasy Mouth Child, and a descendant of Mitch Bouyer, Chief Two Belly, and Chief Crazy Head of Mighty Few.
Betty grew up in Wyola and attended the Wyola Grade School as well as the Lodge Grass High School. She was relocated in 1962 to Los Angeles, CA, where she lived for over 60 years. There she worked as a CNA until she later met Kenny Blackrock, Sr. The couple made their home in Hollywood, CA, where they had two children, Kenny Blackrock, Jr., and Marcy Blackrock.
Betty was a very private person. She was sociable and enjoyed spending time every summer with her sister Angela.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, and son Kenny.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Marcy (Logan) Moncrief; her grandchildren, Randy and Crystal Robley; her brother, Allison Bouyer, Sr.; her sisters, Angela Stewart of Wyola, Alice Smith of Fort Worth, Rozella Covington of Coulee Dam, WA, and Mary Louise LaForge of Blacklodge, MT.
Betty’s extended family includes Redwolf, LaForge, Stewart, Littlenest, Crooked Arm, Grant, Bouyer, Dillon, Big Hair, Not Afraid, Alden, Cummins, and Stray Calf families.
