Obituary
Betty Bastrom Seder, 84, of Hardin passed away on Dec. 20, 2021. She was born April 20, 1937 in Hardin, Montana, a daughter of Rueban and Mabel Bastrom. She lived in Hardin, Forsyth and Billings, finally moving back to Hardin where her family lived and farmed south of Hardin. That’s where Betty met the love of her life, Hank Seder, and the couple were married on December 30, 1956. They made their home in Hardin. Betty worked various part-time jobs while raising her three children. Later Hank purchased the Husky Gas Station and Repair shop, where she and Hank worked as a team along with sons, Rick and Tim.
Her husband Hank, parents Rueban and Mabel and brother Floyd preceded Betty in death.
Betty was a kind person who enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. She also had a couple of dogs that she really enjoyed.
Survivors include her daughter Susan (David) Smith of Arizona; sons Rick (Dawn) Seder and Tim Seder of Hardin; five grandchildren Christopher, Carla (Gayle), Nick (Vida), Justin and Megan; three great-grandchildren Dominic, Leila and Luna; her brother Larry (Sharla) Bastrom and sister-n-law Linda Bastrom.
