Bonnie Jean White

Funeral services will be held Monday November 8, 2021, at the Valley Community Church at 11:00 am 1004 North Sewell Ave. with interment at the Custer County Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church. Visitation will be held on Sunday November 7, 2021, from 4:00 to 7:00 at the Valley Community Church.

Bonnie Jean White went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 31, 2021. Bonnie Jean was born on July 1, 1952, in Miles City, Montana the daughter of Archie and Alice (Isle) Swift. She grew up in Miles City with her six sisters and one brother. She attended schools in Miles City.

Bonnie Jean met James White in Miles City and they married on July 7, 1990. Jim accepted Bonnie Jean’s two sons as his own. The family lived for a short time in Arizona and moved back to Miles City and raised their children there.

Bonnie Jean worked at the Holy Rosary Hospital for many years in various positions. She retired in 1998 from Holy Rosary as a respiratory therapist. Bonnie Jean’s passion was her family. She loved family gatherings, cooking for holidays, and playing cards into the late hours. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she enjoyed every minute she spent with them. Bonnie Jean loved to sing and attend church services. Her relationship with her Lord was the foundation of her life.

She is preceded in death by her son Archie Charles “AC”; her parents; brother-in-law Guy Gamber, four uncles and six aunts.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; her son George (Christy) of Miles City; grandchildren Kelsie, Corina Jean, Sharize, Trae, Karsen, Jonathan, Ace, Shane and Mady; her great grandchildren Xander, SJ, Scarlette, Auron, Deliah and Lilly; her sisters Sharon (Frank) Howard, Sandy (Monty) Beeler, Nora Gamber, Gerri (Harvey) Bloxom, Janette (Dan) Carpenter, Debbie (Tony) Meyer and her brother Art Swift.
