Bryon DeAngelo Walks, 37, of Crow Agency, passed away on November 16, 2024. He was born on June 30, 1987, to Gilbert Walks Jr. and Jennifer Badhorse and was a member of the Big Lodge clan. His Indian name was Iitaashte duuupe, (Two Shirts). Bryon attended Crow Agency Elementary and Hardin High School before earning his diploma in Deer Lodge, Montana. He worked in various jobs within the labor industry.
Growing up, Bryon had a passion for hunting and playing video games. He enjoyed dancing in traditional style at powwow's and influenced his brothers and friends with a wide range of music genres. Bryon was a free spirit with a great sense of humor and loved to joke around. Despite having little to offer, he was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was deeply loved by many.
Bryon is preceded in death by his significant other Sierra Young, Sister Mary Mountain Sheep. Brothers Gilbert "Quincy" Walks, Taylon Mountain Sheep, Conrad Walks Jr., Leland Walks Jr., Clinton Old Bull, Jerry Flatlip, Josh Rideshorse, Victor Costa Jr, Barry "Snow" Goodbird, Matthew and Benny Cloud. Aunt Danelle Walks. Grandpa Larson Medicine Horse.
Survived by his daughters Katerry and Kaylie Walks. Father Gilbert Walks Jr and Mother Jennifer Badhorse. Brothers Delbert, Cameron, Randall (Celeste) Walks, Gilbert Wolfe, John (Whitney) Mountain Sheep, Gerald, Emeral, and Trevor Redwolf. Sisters Blossom Old Bull, Kelly and Lila Mountain Sheep. Angel and Loretta Whitebear, Shaliyah (Maynard) Yellow Robe. Uncle Conrad Walks, Emmett, and Clyde Salla. Aunts Barbara Badhorse, Felicia (Sam) Tillman, Elise Half, Twila Grant and Liz Medicine Horse.
Extended families include Walks, Big Hair, Medicine Horse, Stewart High Hawk, Not Afraid, Buffalo, Stops, Onion, Half, Chief Child, Bad Horse, Eagle Star, Salla, Backbone, Cloud, Falls Down, Jefferson and Brown. Our family is very large; please forgive us in our time of grief, if we have forgotten anyone.
