Clinton Dale Walks Ceasley, aged 72, of Crow Agency, Montana, passed away on June 30, 2024. Born in Crow Agency, he lived a life marked by devotion to his family and community.
Clinton was a revered member of the Big Lodge clan, embodying the spirit of his heritage throughout his life. He was a dedicated father and grandfather, often seen cheering at his children's sports events or treating his grandchildren to early morning ice cream runs. His pride in his family's achievements knew no bounds, especially evident in his support for his son Scooter's arrow tournament championships.
Professionally, Clinton's career was varied and impactful. In the late 1970s, he was involved in arts and crafts in Lodge Grass, MT. He then served as a bus driver and janitor at Pretty Eagle during the 1980s and worked for the Crow Tribe AML in the early 1990s. Clinton spent the latter part of his career, from 1997 to 2013, as a dishwasher and custodian at Pretty Eagle, demonstrating his lifelong commitment to supporting educational environments.
Clinton is survived by a loving family: sons Thomas Walks Ceasley, Daniel (Jeanne) Walks Ceasley, Scooter (Alicia) Walks Ceasley, Pedro (Rhonda) Hernandez, Salvador (Heidi) Hernandez; daughters Yolanda (Delvin) Medicine Crow, Roseanna (Mark) Denny, Candace Brien, Tillie BearCloud; siblings Lucille (Alvin) Yarlott, Pearl Mae (Larry) Tobacco, John (Lavern) Buffalo, Gary Buffalo, Conrad Walks, Arnetta Walks, Manford Walks, Ira Walks, Theda Walks; and 28 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel C. Walks Ceasley and Mildred LaForge-Buffalo; his daughter Elizabeth; his granson Taylan Cole Wayne Walks Ceasley; and several siblings and close relatives.
A Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday, July 5th, 2024, at 3 pm at Bullis Mortuary in Hardin, MT. The funeral service will follow on Saturday, July 6th, 2024, at 10 am at St. Dennis Catholic Church in Crow Agency, MT. Bullis Mortuary is assisting the family during this time.
Clinton's legacy of love, family, and community engagement will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
Extended family includes: Walks, LaForge, Not Afraid, Blue Thunder, Medicine Horse, Lefthand's of Spearsiding, Little Nest, Bouyers, Takes Enemy, and Pretty Weasel. Our family is very large. Please accept our apologies if we forgot anyone.
