Clive Mountain Pocket Dust Jr. Obituary

Clive Mountain Pocket Dust, Jr. of Lodge Grass, Montana went home to be with the Lord on September 20, 2024. He was born on April 28, 1950 a son of Clive Dust Sr and Nellie MountainPocket. Clive in his early years growing up loved riding horses, hunting and being in the mountains with family. He enjoyed fishing at Willow Creek Dam and barbecuing. He watched and learned from his father operating the tracker in the fields. During the summer season he gathered and stacked hay bales with his brother, nephews, son and grandsons. He attended Lodge Grass High School for his education and later earned his Carpentry in Glasgow, Montana. He worked for the Crow Tribal Housings as a carpenter for many years. He traveled and visited multiple states and cities with his wife Maudine. The two favorite places they loved were Seattle, Washington and Las Vegas. He played and attended Arrow Tournaments. He loved making and designing hand game benches. During his time, away from work he spent his time at home making and building furniture, tables and chairs. When Clive’s wife home needed to be remodeled, Clive was teaching his son Woodrow how to do change tiles for flooring fixtures, measuring, cutting carpet, painting and do carpentry duties. He loved teaching his grandsons Woodrow Jr. and Theodore the techniques of throwing arrows and watching them play at tournaments. He loved and helped raise his wife Maudine’s children and grandchildren. Clive was a very loving father, husband, uncle and a grandfather who always taught us how to love, forgive and laugh. Reminded us that life is a gift from God. Tells us to always pray and love one another. To be strong and be a beacon of light. He loved all his children and grandchildren very much until the day he left this world.
