Cody Mason Bruce born on January 9th, 1990 died suddenly on June 16, 2024. Cody was a wonderful and loving father to his only son Augy Mason Bruce age 6.
The tragedy of his death is heartbreaking as so many plans for the future were made. He had goals set for his life. Moving forward Cody had been so successful in dealing with addiction that plagued his soul for so many years.
Augy Bruce was the apple of his daddy’s eye and constant companion; truly his daddy’s boy. As Cody would say “I love you to the moon and back forever”. There are no words to express the sorrow, pain and grief that are physically and emotionally devastating.
Cody sometimes called “Chody” by his loving friends Katie Vega and Shiloh Turns Plenty will leave a vast emptiness in these beautiful souls were the first to love and care for him when we moved to Hardin. They fixed his loneliness and were always there for him come hell or high-water.
Cody is survived by his loving son Augy Mason Bruce; mother Pam; brother Ryan; maternal grandmother Judy Sanders as well as his aunties Shawn, Aimee, Kim and Joy; as well as cousins in Texas, Colorado and Wyoming.
Cody was loved more than he realized because as all who loved him knew he was shy and much like his deceased father, Rusty; not a real fan of people. Shy to the bone but friend to the end.
However; God made him helper to the people in his life. He’d give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
Cody lived most of his life on the edge of society…never really fitting in. He fought a long battle with addiction and God rest his soul, it took him.
Gone but never forgotten evermore His sweetness and “to the moon and back love” he had for Augy will continue as his son was his heart, soul and love of his life. God bless and keep him I hope Valhalla is his Heaven and astral sanctuary.
Always love through thick and thin even when I was told to throw him away. We had a true unconditional love between the three of us. God bless our soul and please pray for Augy as he faces a life alone with memories of happiness and times with his daddy from all they experienced together.
Additionally, great love, compassion and caring came from the Kurth and Horton families to help Cody to be successful. Blessings to the Koehn family for the faith they had in him.
The celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the South Park in Hardin, Montana.
