Deanna Doyle-Dreamer Obituary

Deanna Barbara Doyle-Dreamer, age 87, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, surrounded by all of her family and loved ones. She was born on May 23, 1938, in Crow Agency, Montana. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Deanna lived in Crow Agency, Montana, and spent significant parts of her life in Bozeman, Montana, Grand Coulee, Washington, as well as Washington, D.C., where she built both her career and cherished family memories alongside her late husband, Mortimer Dreamer, and children Lansing and Jonni Dreamer, as well as her surviving daughter, Kasey.

She worked as a legal assistant for a prominent law firm in Washington, D.C., specializing in Native American law. Her work reflected her intelligence, dedication, and deep respect for justice and community. After Deanna moved back to Montana, she spent countless hours helping raise her grandchildren, Shannon, Matthew, Maria, William, and Jersey, who they affectionately called “Mim” a nickname given to her by her granddaughter Maria. She also had an especially close bond with her great-niece, Cheyenne Whiteman, whom she babysat for many years.

Above all, Deanna’s greatest devotion was to her family. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel loved, valued, and special. Her home was a place of comfort, care, and unwavering support where everyone always felt welcome.
