Dora Marie Morrison, 60, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 17, 2025 in Billings, Montana. She was born June 5, 1964 in Crow Agency, Montana to Patricia Ann Looks Behind and David Morrison, Jr. and grew up in Busby, Montana. She was a Northern Cheyenne tribal member and her Indian name is “Heh’ oh’ nah” and means “Pipe Woman”.
Dora lived in Billings, Montana where she was a primary caregiver. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and traveling to see new places. Her kids and grandkids were the most important aspect of her life, she would do anything and everything to help and see them succeed. Dora was a free spirit and overcame many accomplishments in life. Dora was very loving, caring, and had a huge heart for her loved ones. If you needed something or someone to talk to, Dora was the one to call.
She is survived by daughters, Angela Roman Nose and Patricia Buffalo; sons, Martin (Aspen) Roman Nose, JD (Tweet) Roman Nose, and Tony Roman Nose; sisters, Denise Shirley, Donna (Jessie) Martinez and Aletta Mecklenburg; brothers, James Morrison, Sam Morrison, Orville (Sheila) Morrison, David Morrison, Billy Rondeau, Kenny (Darlene) Looks Behind, Raymond (Holly) Bixby, Michael Looks Behind, Tyrell Morrison and James Francis; aunts, Linda Morrison, Judith (Charles) Keesy, Freida Smith, Earlene Heyoka, and Julia (Dean) Blackwolf; uncles, Marvin Morrison, Clyde Wolf Black and Butch (Chris) Small; grandchildren, Jaron, Santos, Kylar, Jessica, Stephon, Siedel, Artiero, Tyus, Faith Marie, Harmony, Destan, Journey, Diamond, Taz, Bear, Christian, Zion, Zephanie and Isabella; and special niece, Chastity (Issac) Martinez.
Dora is preceded in death by her parents, David Morrison Jr. and Patricia A. Looks Behind; grandparents, David Morrison Sr., Montana Teeth, Pius Looks Behind and Mary Lame Woman; daughter, Ramona J. Roman Nose and grandson, Alize Millard.
