Floyd Marvin Link passed away peacefully on April 22nd, 2023, surrounded by family.
Floyd was born October 26th, 1942 in Hardin, Montana, the 2nd of 8 children. He grew up in his family house and attended Hardin High school graduating in 1960.
Floyd married the love of his life Judy on December 19th, 1970. He worked the majority of his adult life at Campbell Farming Corporation and Sarpy Creek Coal Mine until he retired. In his free time, Floyd enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting, cheering on the Hardin Bulldogs in all sports, making sausage and jerky, cheering on the Atlanta Braves and Denver Broncos, and making people smile. He was known around town for his kind heart, sense of humor, and infectious smile. He was loved and respected by everyone he met.
Floyd is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Christina, sister Dorothy Lonsbury, and nephew Mike Link. He is survived by his wife Judy, sons Justin and Jeffrey, his only grandchild Harper, brothers and sisters Garry (Barb), Carol (John-Deceased) Fergerson, Ginny (John) Tate, Faye Munter, Larry (Myra) Link, Gale (Richelle) Link, sister and brothers in law Karen, John, and Ron Kehler, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, April 28th, at 11AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hardin Montana. Internment services will be held at Fairview cemetery at a later date.
