Gladys Faye Red Wolf, 56, of Wyola passed onto the next camp on August 10, 2023. She was born August 29, 1966 in Crow Agency, Montana, a daughter of Beverly Nadine Red Wolf and Robert Bobby Kindness. She was adopted by her grandparents, Charles & Julia Red Wolf. She was raised on the Red Wolf Farm & Horse Ranch in Wyola, MT.
Her Indian name is "Itchelakuuwiash" Wants To Live Good, given to her by her grandfather Francis Stewart. She also went by her nickname “Casper”, which she was well known by. She was a member of the Bad War Deeds Clan & child of Greasy Mouth. Gladys was a part of the Native American Church and accomplished four sun dances.
She received her early education in Wyola Elementary School, and attended Chemawa Indian school, where she graduated in 1986. She attended United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck, ND, where she started her prerequisite of nursing, but later transferred careers to Medical Records Management and finished at May Technical College in Billings, MT.
Her parents & adopted parents; grandparents, Walter & Gladys Jack Rabbit; her sisters, Regina, Valerie, Bernadette, Linda, Robin Kindness, Penny & Lydia Medicine Horse; brothers, Robbie & Danny Kindness, Thomas Red Wolf Jr; Aunts, Doris, Edith, Martha, Alice, Wanda Door-Medicine Horse, Betty Caufield; uncles, Thomas Red Wolf Sr, Harvey Driftwood, Walter Mickey Stewart Sr, Norman Red Wolf, Tommy Stewart, Jimmy, Tyrone, Larry Kindness, Stephen & Gerald Red Wolf; nieces, Juliet Toinetta-Red Wolf and Cecily Shane; nephews, Alvin Prettyontop and Justin Chance Shane, and special friend Jacinta Walks preceded Gladys in death.
