James Tucker Sinks

A memorial service will be July 2, 2022 at 11:00AM at the Bullis Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery.

James Tucker Sinks passed away on Dec 21, 2021 in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. Tucker was born in San Diego, California on March 7, 1991. Tucker had been battling mental health issues and addiction which he was not able to overcome.

In January of 2019, he and Vera Robison became the parents to their beautiful baby girl Layla Jade Sinks. Tucker loved being a father and Layla was the light of his life as was Vera. Tucker was a beautiful young man who loved deeply and always wanted to make sure everyone was ok. He would give the shirt off his back and his last dollar. His family was his world. He loved each and every one of us with his whole heart and soul. He had the most beautiful heart and was kind and gentle. He had faith in Jesus Christ and one of his favorite memories was taking communion at the Vatican in Rome with his mom. Tucker grew up with a charmed life with his mom and dad. He traveled the world with both of them and his sister. We will cherish all of those memories. He held many jobs but the one he was most proud of was while working as a fire fighter every summer with Rocky Mountain Fire out of Missoula with his fire fighter brothers and sisters.

Tucker was proceeded in death by his grandfathers, Roy Miller and George Sinks grandmother Betty Sinks; uncles and aunt Gilbert and Vicky Lautt, Gary Lautt and Scott Miller, and Tucker’s daughter Angela Rose who was stillborn.

Tucker is survived by his father, Dr. James Sinks (Vania), mother Vicky Oneil (Steve), sister, Michelle Sliwa, daughter, Layla Sinks, fiancé, Vera Robison, best friend, Marco Zivkovic, grandmother, Jean Miller, niece, Noelle, step sisters, Katelyn Oneil, Megan Oneil, step brother Brian Oneil, step grandfather J Lee Oneil, aunts, Carol Lautt, Laurie Lautt, Linda Garrison, Laurie Miller, Kathleen Oneil, uncles, Chris Garrison, Chuck Sinks, Kurk Sinks, Grant Sinks, sponsors, Jon and Tina Lautt, God Mother, Donna Magistro, cousins, Julie, Jodi, Abby, Sarah, Kyle, Sara, Trevor, Jaysen, Scotti, Tyler, Aaron and Tara.
