Janice Lee (Adams) Sun Goes Slow

The sun rose and the sun set on May 26, 2026, for Janice Lee Sun Goes Slow, a daughter of Delma Yarlott and the late Douglas Adams, Jr., who was born on December 3, 1952, in Billings, MT. Her Indian name was Her Sacred Medicines.

Janice was a very loving, caring, and good supporter of many. She attended Sissiton, SD and Crow School, and graduated from Hardin High School in 1971. She also went to college in Bozeman and made many good friends. Janice cherished and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. She worked 30 years at Crow Agency Public School. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Sun Goes Slow, Sr.; son, Kenny Lee Sun Goes Slow; granddaughter, Kaeleigh Hugs; dad, Douglas Adams, Jr.; grandparents, Douglas (Janett) Adams; brother, Don Adams; nephew, Colton RidesBear; sister, Kathleen Dawes; and aunt, Regina GoesAhead.
