Obituary

Jazmin Teyana Old Bull, 23, crossed over to the other side camp, on October 17, 2021. Her Crow name Binnach Baaxpáa (Medicine Shield) was given to her by her grandpa, Tilton Old Bull, Sr. She was a child of Big Lodge and a member of Ties the Bundle. Jazmin was born on April 18, 1998 in Denver, Colorado to Tilton and Jennifer (Bellrock) OldBull, Jr. She was the first grandchild on her maternal side and a direct descendant of Chief Bellrock. She was raised in Denver, Billings, Hardin and Crow Agency and for a short period of time in Spokane, Washington. She attended schools in Hardin, Billings and Spokane. She chose to attend the Job Corps Program in Clearfield, Utah and was currently working on her Hiset.

Jazmin married Gus Other Medicine, Sr. on July 21, 2017 and the couple had two sons Gus, Jr. and Grayson. The couple later divorced.

Jaz was a beautiful, loving, caring, ambitious, fun and energetic soul. Definitely our “wild child”. She was always getting into some kind of mischief with her siblings while growing up. She really loved her little brothers and sisters and was so proud of all their accomplishments. She was especially excited for her little brother, Carson’s, senior football season and making her an aunt for the first time. She considered her baby boys her greatest accomplishment and they were the love of her life. She was so proud of Baby Gus starting school and was looking forward to celebrating Gray’s first birthday with a big party. Growing up everyone always knew she was going to be a fabulous mom. She just had this motherly trait always caring for her siblings and even after having her own babies she still loved caring for her little cousins Kachiri, Tula and Meghan Lopez. Jaz loved doing outdoor activities including swimming, boating, camping and taking her kids to do fun things. She was known for her joking around and laughing with her siblings and her mom. She loved hanging out with her close friends playing pool and bowling with them. She always thought of others before herself and enjoyed cooking for family and throwing parties for everyone. Our beloved, mom, daughter, sister, auntie, granddaughter and niece left us way too soon. Jazmin will be so deeply missed by everyone that loved her.
