Jessie Louise Westbrook Redfield, age 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 17, 2026.
Jessie was born on December 19, 1948, in Hardin, Montana, to Clarence and Margaret (Pattyn) Westbrook. She was raised along Lodge Grass Creek, a place she cherished throughout her life and where many of her fondest memories were made. She graduated from Lodge Grass in 1967 and later attended ACME Beauty School in Billings, Montana.
Jessie dedicated more than 30 years of service to her career at Lodge Grass IGA before retiring around 2012. She was a hardworking and devoted woman who took pride in everything she did.
On December 19, 1967, Jessie married the love of her life, Roland "Rollie" Redfield Sr. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised eight children, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.
Jessie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, whose warm heart touched everyone she met. She was devoted to her family and took great joy in nurturing her children and grandchildren, always encouraging them to succeed in life. Her home was a place of comfort and welcome, where delicious home-cooked meals and loving guidance were always plentiful.
Jessie had a passion for gardening and sewing, reflecting her creative spirit and the care she brought to every aspect of her life. Her greatest joy, however, was following her children and grandchildren to their sporting events and cheering them on with pride and enthusiasm.
Jessie is lovingly survived by her children, Rhonda (Darren) Singer, Roberta Bianas, Robert Redfield, Rebecca Redfield, Roland (Lana) Redfield Jr., Ranita Redfield, and Robin (Jeremy) Shield; her sisters, Malena Heun, Donna Flores, Jo Ann (Junior) Molina, and Laura Lynne (Randy) Smith; brother, Clarence “Corky/Wes” (Sharon) Westbrook Jr.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
She leaves behind a remarkable legacy through her family, including 28 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom were a tremendous source of pride and joy to her.
Grandchildren: Carmille (Brandon) Armajo, Isaiah (Jackie) Singer, Ember (Lloyd) Hogan, Darrin Singer Jr., Nicole Redfield, Davin Redfield, Cayden (Gerika) Redfield, Tristan (Stephanie) Redfield, Noah Morrison, Margie Mae Redfield, Selena Redfield, Michael (Lisa) Foote Jr., Terran (Rynalle) Foote, Alyssa Bianas, Tanisha (Eric) Redfield, Trey (Trish) Redfield, Elija Costa, Krista Costa, Naomi Redfield, Cecilia Redfield, Nina (Francis) Birdinground, Jacilynn (Braxton) Smith, Kellie Old Elk, Matthew Pulliam Jr., Maleah Pulliam, Jolona (Pero) Dzakic, Jerron Shield.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roland "Rollie" Redfield Sr.; her son, Richard Redfield; her sister, Shirley (Dan) Shick; her grandsons, Esley "Baby Es" Old Elk and Elijah Evans; her son-in-law, Leo Bianas; her brothers-in-laws, Bill Heun and Richard Flores; nephews, Wesley Flores, Jacob Smith, and her parents Clarence and Margaret (Pattyn) Westbrook Sr.
Jessie will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, strength, and unconditional love for her family. Her love and wisdom will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
