Juriah Zade Bearground

Juriah Zade Bearground of Lodge Grass, MT went to the other side camp on April 27, 2026 at Billings Clinic. Juriah was born November 2, 2005 to Maynard (Bossanova) Crooked Arm and was raised by Chasity Nomee and Frankie Bastien. His adopted mother is Joanna Nomee.  Juriah was very close to his mother and caring sisters, Shauntel and Phoenix Jefferson. 

He attended school in Lodge Grass and received his high school diploma in 2024. He was employed at Lodge Grass IGA.

Juriah enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing basketball but his love for throwing arrows was evident by the championships he won. He was a proud member of team Yellow Weasel. All his arrow throwing friends became his brothers. He was well known by many for his big heart and the respect he had for everyone who took him in as their own. Juriah's sense of humor always put a smile on everyone's faces. He was affectionately known as "Úuxxnuts" a nickname he gave to himself. 

He is preceded in death by great great grandparents, Otto and Elimere Bearground, and Frances Backbone; great grandparents, Bill and Shirley Stewart, Regina Goes Ahead, Teresa Little Light, Cedric and Loreena Walksoverice, Greely Not Afraid, Burton Pretty On Top, and Archie Bearground; grandfathers, Pius Crooked Arm and Burton Bearground; and grandmother Deborah Old Horn.

Survivors include his parents, great grandmothers, Dema Yarlott and Mary Black Eagle; grandfathers, Dexter Falls Down and Shawn Walksoverice; grandmothers, Geneva and Francis Walksoverice, Janice Nomee-Morning, Sharolyn (Chester) Nomee, Sarah (Tilton) Old Bull, Delmyrna Yarlott, Clarice (Ronnie) Medicine Crow, and Clara Bell Hugs; aunts, Crystal, Suzette, Tamara, Chloe Bad Horse, Ardith Birdinground, and Faith Iron; brothers, Benny Lee Rock Above, P.G. Nomee, Cameron (Boy), Daniel, Wyatt, Keenon, TJ, Jonathan, Shan, Buren, R.
