Kristal says, “I want to go home.” So Renee and Jerry came after their beloved daughter and sister to be in heaven with them.
Kristle was born March 17, 1987, to Renee Little Light at the Crow Indian Hospital in Crow Agency, Montana, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 1, 2024, in Billings, Montana. Her Crow Indian Name, “Yellow Chickadee” Ishchiikií kaatshiíle was given to her by Dorthea Adams. She was a member of the Greasy Mouth and a child of the Greasy Mouth Clan.
She attended the schools in Crow Agency, Hardin, and Billings, Montana. She was employed by Crow Tribe Head Start, the US Postal Service, and most recently by Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital Dental Office.
She enjoyed surfing the internet, acquiring new information, and making travel arrangements. One trip she really enjoyed was visiting her Little Light/Melendrez family in Oakland, California. She traveled to Colorado to visit her Little Light/Martinez family. She really enjoyed driving the Cadillac, she was the only one who knew how to handle this fancy car. In 2011, Kristle moved to Oklahoma to try something new. She was fearless and ready for an adventure. She would call her mom everyday to check in. She returned to Montana a year later and earned her CNA. She was a true “caregiver”. She enjoyed fancy purses, having her nails manicured, pedicures, coloring her hair different colors, and forever ordering her favorites from eBay, etc.
In 1999, her father Alex came into her life, and continued to see her and support her until he passed.
