Michael Fred La Forge, 68, was born April 14, 1955, in Crow Agency, MT and on January 24, 2024, he left us to be with his Lord with his family by his side. Michael was the son of the late Louise Dawes and James La Forge.
He served in the United States Army where he did his Patriotic Tour during the Vietnam War from November of 1973 to February 1975 with Honorable Discharge. He worked at numerous places which included Indian Health Services and Sarpy Coal Mine where he retired. He loved to watch basketball especially when his daughter Sharon played. He continued to be a vivid Bulldog fan. He FaceTime his niece Kanean so he can watch some basketball even though it wasn’t the Bulldogs he got to watch some Indian ball while in the hospital.
His parents, grandchildren Echo La Forge, Roddy and Michael Not Afraid, nephews Josiah Yellowtail, Donnie, Stephen
La Forge, Michael Bird in Ground, Jr. and Melvin Pretty Weasel; his nieces Donita and Susan LaForge and sister Lavina preceded him in death.
