Mitchell Zane Little Light, 30 of Billings, MT journeyed on to the other side of the camp on February 6th, 2026. He was born on April 25, 1995. He was born to Latasha Little Light and the late Alvin Floyd Pretty On Top. Zane went to school in Lodge Grass, Hardin, and Billings, MT. He was a Ties the Bundle and a child of Bad War Deeds. He was working at AMS in Billings at the time of his death.
Zane, as he was affectionately called, always had a smile on his face. He welcomed all his friends and family for a good laugh. He loved his brothers and sisters to the moon and back. He loved going to the mountains. He loved video games and his music. He enjoyed going to Wyola and visiting. Zane made friends everywhere he went and left people smiling.
He lived in Lodge Grass, Shelby, and Missoula. At the time of his death, he lived in Billings.
Zane is preceded by his father, Alvin Floyd; brothers, Mitchell Stewart, Thomas Lion Shows, and Jarin Wayne Black Smith; grandfathers, Colling Young, Larry D. Eastman, Billy Daychild Wayne Little Light, Collin Little Light; great-grandparents, Becker and Dollie Little Light, Walter Young, Richard Sr and Cesyel Eastman, Alice Lion Shows; grandmothers, Linda Flat Lip Pretty On Top, Carletta Little Light, Janice Good Luck; great-grandmothers, Gail Morrison Red Wolf and Edith Jack Rabbit; great-grandfathers, Archie Flatlip and Albert American Horse; great-great-grandparents Carl and Louise Yarlott Young; uncles, Albie and Bryan Little Light; and auntie, Heather Left Hand.
Zane was the oldest of seven children. He is survived by his uncle who raised him Franklin Eastman; his mother and grandmother on his parternal, Richelle Eastman (Lee Pate) and Bobby Jean Medicine Horse; his brothers, Mylen, Solomon Blacksmith, and Issac Fleming, Thomas Stevens; sisters, Raisha, Vivica, Maressa, Kori Lynn Blacksmith, Eloise Day Child, and Tiffany Medicine Horse, Levonna Little Bird Graham, Deborah Bishop, Paradise Blu Medicine Horse; grandfathers, Norman (Lynn) Morrison, George and Allie Little Light, Manual Pretty On Top Morrison, Myron Eastman and Jessie Plenty Hawk, Nelvete Litlle Light, and Loretta Stewart, Lisa Day Child; grandmothers, Beverly Shane, Laura White Clay, Gail (Peter) Ornales, Fay Ann Little Light, Valerie (Lloyd) Hogan, Jr., Betty Jo Morrison, and Thomasin Birdinground; great-grandmothers, Jolen Webb and Sarah Young; his two daughters, one from Great Falls and the other from Billings; his uncles, Lawrence (Kristi) Pretty On Top, James, Jr., and Leo (Alexis) Cummins, Johnny (Tawnya) Old Coyote, Archie, Lawrence (Yolaunda), Scott, Matthew (Amanda), and Robert Flat Lip, Delano (Alta), Clinton (Kathleen), and Kenneth White Clay, Myron Eastman Seminole, Laris, and Dean Little Light; his aunties, Cynthia Pretty On Top and Lawryn (Roy) Rides Horse. Lachelle and Tara Little Light, Mitchleen Stewart, Misty and Ceslie Eagle Feathers, Amanda Old Crow, Yalanda Walking Eagle; adopted brothers, J’Raye Rowland, Tommy, and Toby Rock Roads; and adopted mom, Vicki Brady.
