Otto Isaac Dust, 83, made heaven his home on Sunday, October 29, 2023. He was born in Crow Agency to Edna Dust on November 3, 1940. Otto was a member of the Apsaalooke Tribe and the Piegan clan. He was raised by his grandpa, William Dust, and his aunt, Martha Dust, and attended Lodge Grass schools. He helped his grandpa train racehorses and attended horse racing events with him. His horse, Chief, won most of his races.
Isaac married Cordelia Mae Necklace from Poplar, MT. They had one daughter, Elsie Lenora, and a granddaughter, Chasity Blackdog.
Later in life, Isaac became a full gospel minister in the Lodge Grass area and was also a gospel singer. He traveled with various ministers and helped with revivals. Many remember his wonderful singing and passionate preaching.
He is preceded in death by his mother Edna, wife Mae, daughter Lenora, and granddaughter Chasity, as well as brothers, Dallas Dust, Sr. and Kenneth Sun Goes Slow, Sr., sisters, Dorothy and Justine Sun Goes Slow, aunties, Anna and Martha Dust, Leona Morning, and Amy Red Star, and uncles, William, Jr., and Clive Dust, Sr., Henry Bright Wings, Sr., Trask Little Light, Tex Good Luck, Sr., and William Gros Ventre.
Isaac is survived by his sister, Aldeen Dust, brother John Dust, Sr. and twin brothers, Dean and Dana Bird.
Extended family include Dust, Bright Wings, Red Star, Williamson, Bear Ground, StandsOverBull and Morning.
