Perry Kyle Eastman

Perry Kyle Eastman, 27, from Crow Agency, crossed to the other side camp on February 4, 2025. Perry Kyle was born on September 10, 1997 to his mother Mervalene Eastman. Perry grew up in the Crow Agency area and went to school in Lodge Grass. He was a member of the Native American Church. He also participated in other traditional ceremonies such as Sundance, Peyote Meetings and Sweat Lodge. Perry was a member of the Peigan clan and a child of the Whistle Water clan. 

Anytime you would see him he was always there to greet you with a smile on his face. He had such a big heart, that when he was a young boy, he always wanted to buy everyone in the family a gift. He loved hanging out with his big brothers, he would always be with them. He was so proud to be a great uncle to all of his nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother Mervalene Eastman, grandparents Mervin and Darlene Eastman, adopted mother Alma Grace Cashen; uncles Mervin Lei, James Cummins and Curtis Bad Bear, grandparents are sons and daughters of Lucy Cummins Brien Eastman, brothers Jeremy Eastman and Jonathan Hogan, Sr. and sister Heather Eastman.

He is survived by his daughter Kayzlee Alma Grace Eastman, niece and nephew he took as his own Carlyssa Darlee, Angela Heather and Mervin Jeremy James Eastman, his “peyote mother” Mary Louise LaForge; uncles Billy Ray, Sr. (Karen), Carl (Maryann), Edward (Dorci) Eastman, John (Carla) Lei and John (Angie) Cummins; sisters Teffany and Miriam Eastman, Maureen (Lewellyn) Dawes, Rylea (David) Cross, TerryAnna (Pierce) Big Left Hand, Chelsea and Nya Bigman; brothers Riley and David Cross, Geoffrey (Sunshine), Tilton (Sarah) Old Bull, BillyJr. (Jaquelynne) Eastman, Jeffrey Allen (Angel) Grisham; nieces Maliyah Dawes, Lacy Anne, Kerrigan Eastman, Zhane, Vestal, Vanessa Not Afraid, Jeffonna Grisham, Hailey White Hip, Zoe, Jordan, Jacinta, Kaalani, Mercedes; nephews Billy Eastman III, Johnathan, Jr. Jake Elric (sweetness) Dawes, Delmer and Harrison Eastman, Wyatt James Eastman, Joshua, Shedrick and Aspen Grisham, JJ, Jake, Antonio, Matthias; aunts Julie Yarlott, Audie Wilkinson, Georgette (J.R.) OldCrow and Sheila (Shawn) Heart; grandparents Arlen (Fancine) Shoyo, Bernie Shoyo Johnson Roan Horse. 

Extended family includes Bad Bears, Brien, Eastman, LaFaniers, Robinson, Dahls, Bixby, Cumins, Take Horse, Backbone, Alden, DeCrane, Plainfeather, BirdHats, Johnsons (Idaho), Fox, Spotted Wolfs, the Phil Segaly family and Emmette Yassie.
