Ramsey “Duke” White Clay, 44 made Heaven his home on Tuesday February 18, 2025.
Ramsey was born to Phillip White Clay, Jr. and Colleen Fisher on December 16, 1980, in Helena, Montana. Duke, as he was affectionally known by, grew up in Black Lodge where he was also raised by his grandparents Phillip and Vera Ann White Clay Sr. Duke attended schools in Billings, Browning, Ashland (St Labre), Hardin and Chemawa Indian School in Oregon. He participated in Basketball while in school. He met a lot of Friends from all the different schools he attended. Growing up in Black Lodge he also like to explore the outdoors, fishing, hunting, walks, riding horses, breaking horses and had a passion for it, and helping his Dad and Family with the cattle. Coming from a large family, Duke grew up with many of his cousins who he took as his brothers and sisters, making many good memories, especially in Black Lodge.
Ramsey married Cindy Crooked Arm but later divorced. From this union they had three children. Racinda, Latrell and Valerie who were the joy of his life. He loved every moment he spent with his children, taking them to the places he loved going and enjoying the outdoors with them as well. He became a Proud Grandpa to Ozias, Dessie and Lawrence.
He was a member of The Black Lodge Church where he often spent his time. He enjoyed reading the Bible and getting guidance from his spiritual advisors. Before his mothers passing they would travel together in South Dakota to different churches and really enjoyed their time at Keystone Project. Duke loved spending time with his family and no matter where he was at, He would always be calling to check on Everybody. We will all be waiting for his phone call.
