Rosanna Lee Dust, 52, went to be with the Lord on December 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 18, 1972, to the late Clive Dust, Jr. and Betty Jane LaForge in Crow Agency, MT. She was a member of the Big Lodge and a child of the Greasy Mouth Clans. Rosanna was affectionately known as Rose. She grew up in the Wyola and Lodge Grass areas where she received her early education. She later went on to receive her high school diploma from Senior High School in Billings, MT. Rose had a passion for advocacy in social work. She was a member of the El Shaddai Church in Wyola. Rose was a mother of 5 children and a grandmother to 12 grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
Rose was a very kind and humble individual. She was tender-hearted and selfless. Her good-nature brought warmth to her presence. She also had a very comical sense of humor with sometimes witty responses. Rose displayed unwavering determination and intangible loyalty to everyone she loved. Rosanna was an avid and loyal Dallas Cowboys fan.
She is preceded in death by her father, her sisters Lulu Dust and Ida Miller; her aunties Marvelene Bird Chief and Rachel LaForge; her uncles Bailey, Sr., Quentin, Tyler, Sr., Ronald LaForge, Sr., Victor, Sr. and Bernard Dust, Sr.
Rose is survived by her mother, Betty LaForge; her children April LaForge, Jonafrin (Tesia) Pretty Paint, Sharon Contreraz, Emmanual Contreraz and Zailen Bouyer; her grandchildren Ezrellah, Ezron, Ezahkyus, Israel, Lacius, Ember, Rowyn, Da’Naheé, Iris, Demetrius, Nyla Lu and Katana; her nieces Georgia and Kaitlin, her nephew Kile; her sisters Bertha (Elliott) Driftwood, Charla Old Bear, Marina (Eric) Plainbull, Tamara Little Light, Nicole Wagy, Barbie and Olive LaForge, Berna (Claude), Charlene and Jolene Dust, Bernadine (JR) Nomee and Raylene (Hank) Rides Horse; her brothers Dominic, Bailey, Jr., Roland, Sr. LaForge, Bernard (Dalean) Dust, Jr., and Matt Stiff Arm; her aunties Valentina (Rayes) Sanchez, Rena Frank, Claudine and Annabell Dust, Aldean Dust, Rebecca and Jennifer Jefferson, Connie Red Star, Lavaune Fitzpatrick, Sandra Grant, Beldean (Alex) Plainfeather and Virginia Real Bird; her uncles Gilbert LaForge, Jr., Kevin and Joe, Sr. Dust; her grandmothers Mary Louise LaForge and Angela Redwolf; as well as many cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her extended family includes Plainfeather, Real Bird, Red Wolf, Little Owl, Carpenter, Hunts the Arrow, Jefferson, Crooked Arm, White Clay, Whiteman, LaForge, Bouyer, Moccasin, Dust, Red Star, Blacksmith, Morning, Driftwood, Frank, Little Light, Good Luck, Gros Ventre, Stewart, Bright Wings and Mountain Pocket.
