Taylon Clint Mountain Sheep Sr., 35 of Lodge Grass, formerly of Hardin passed away June 8, 2024, at home surrounded by his loved ones, following an extended illness.
Taylon, “Helps People with Prayer Songs”, given to him by Tilton Old Bull Sr., was born July 27, 1988, in Sheridan, WY to Maurice Mountainsheep Jr. and Danelle Walks, the baby of 7 siblings. Was a member of the Big Lodge Clan, Child of the Piegan Clan and the Native American Church.
In his younger years, Taylon attended Lodge Grass and Hardin Schools. During that time, he made many friends and met many new cousins along the way. During time of employment, being a jack of all trades, Taylon had many different jobs including McDonalds, Silver Fox Casino and Field of Dreams.
Taylon met Cheranda Not Afraid and the couple made their home in Hardin welcoming 5 boys. They later separated. After a time, Taylon married Loretta White Bear and the couple made their home in Hardin, welcoming a son & daughter.
Although his time with us seemed all too short, Taylon enjoyed spending time with his children, family and friends. Always quick-witted with a smile on his face and a joke or two to make everyone laugh, never missing the opportunity for a hug and to tell you “I Love You” before parting ways. Whatever he set his mind on, would always be done, all or nothing, in true Taylon fashion.
