Theda Jane Jefferson

Theda Jane Jefferson came into this world on March 12, 1962, in Crow Agency, Montana, a daughter of Leona Walks and Lester Jefferson, Jr.  She passed away peacefully April 23, 2023 at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings surrounded by her family. She was a member of the Big Lodge and a child of the Ties the Bundle Clan.

Theda lived a short time in Lodge Grass, then moved to Missoula where she attended Franklin School until the 8th grade.  She met Joe Bosick and married him in 1978, moving back to Hardin a year later.

Theda loved to spoil and spend time with her grandkids and children. She had the biggest heart and took so many in as her own. She would open her door to so many people, no matter the circumstances.  Theda was a strong woman who fought hard for her kids and was a forgiving person. She loved going to yard sales, playing bingo, having family picnics and going rock hunting in Red Lodge; which she has passed down to her children. Her dogs Taz, Blue and Duke were a big part of her life.

Theda is preceded in death by her parents, Leona and Lester, daughter Sasha, brothers, Harold and Ervin Jefferson, and sister Annie Susan.

She leaves behind her sons Joey, Wade Stephan and Baby Harold;  her daughters Marina, Kirsten (Sissy) and Kisha; 33 grandkids, out of those grandkids she helped raise, Lou, Cash, Kincaid and Peanut; 6 great grandkids from her oldest son; her sisters, Trudy and Mary (Gary) Whiteman, and Tina (Lonnie) LaHaye-Stewart.  Special thanks go to Dr. Schneider, St. Vincent Hospital and Billings Clinic nurses for taking care of Theda, the helicopter pilots for checking on her and the following Emmaline, Dawn, Sarah, April (Rett) Davisson and Jim Watt for helping our family through this difficult time.  If we have forgotten you name; please accept our apology.
