Thomas Anthony Tauscher

Tom Tauscher passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019. He was born and raised in Anaconda, MT and graduated from Anaconda High School in 1979.  On December 22, 1981, Tom married his high school sweetheart Jodie Morales.  They lived in Colstrip, MT for four years then moved to Ft. Smith where Tom worked for the Bureau of Reclamation as a Dam Mechanic.  Tom retired from the Bureau after 32 years of service, retiring as the Facilities Manager of Yellowtail Dam.  While working, Tom still pursued his passion of carpentry by building countless projects for his family and friends.  The love he had for building can be seen in each piece he created.

Tom was an incredible husband, father, and brother.  His life revolved around serving God and his family.  His love for God and his wife has inspired his children to follow in the same path.  The greatest talent Tom had was his compassion for others and a deep-seeded desire for others to know and follow Christ.  Although Tom was gifted in building with his hands, the work he did to build up the body of Christ will continue.  “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see” Hebrews 11:1 (NIV).  Although Tom is no longer with us, we can rest in the peace of God knowing that one day we will be joined again singing His praises; all we have to do is accept Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Tom is survived by his wife, Jodie Tauscher; his sons, Josh (Laura) Tauscher, Andrew Tauscher; his daughter, Lindsey (Riley) Ramsey; his grandchildren, Ethan & Levi Tauscher and Claire & Emma Ramsey; his brothers, John (Donna) Tauscher, Paul (Glenda) Tauscher, Mike (Dianne) Tauscher, and Jim (Chris) Tauscher; his sisters, Mary (Jim) Scott, Barbara Bengston, Helen Tauscher, and Cathy (Roger) Tauscher-Mullen. Also, Tom is survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Service is Friday, August 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the First Alliance Church in Hardin, Montana. Burial to follow at the Hardin Fairview Cemetery.

Bullis Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements.
