Kristen Hope Falls Down

Kristen Hope Falls Down, 41, of Crow Agency, Montana passed away April 14, 2023 in Billings. She was born on Christmas Day 1981 to Melanie Vicki Falls Down.  She was a member of the Big Lodge Clan and also a child of the Big Lodge. Kristen attended school in Lodge Grass and at Pretty Eagle and graduated in Busby from the Northern Cheyenne Tribal School.  She was a member of the El Shaddai Worship Center of Wyola.

Kristen was a free spirit who liked to travel, making friends wherever she went.  Her friends welcomed her into their homes and were always glad to have her visit.  She was a respectful person who never forgot a friend or relative.  If she met you, she was quick to greet you with a hug. Kristen was very close to her family; you may be far but never forgotten.  When and wherever she would see her family and relations, she was always quick to acknowledge and greet them with her infectious smile.

Kristen is preceded in death by her mother, Vicki; sisters, Charlotte Old Bull, Karna Falls Down, and Stephanie Pretty Weasel; her grandmothers, Charlotte One Goose, Violet Birdinground, Jewel Williams and Belva Tushka; grandfathers, Wesley Falls Down Sr., Frank Falls Down Sr. and Blaine Falls Down, and Archie Medicine Horse; aunts, Baby Gloria Cummins, Kandee and Magdalene Medicine Horse; uncles and aunts, John and Mary Cummins and Wayne and Patricia Williams; uncles, Wesley Jr., Frank and Adlai Falls Down, Jeffery and Adrian Medicine Horse, and Barney Birdinground; and cousin, James Cummins, Sr.

She is survived by her children, Cheyleigha Falls Down, Medallyon Falls Down, Xzaylah Falls Down, Syncier One Goose, and Amyah Dushane; adopted daughter, Devree Springfield, Sam Walker (Who raised her); brothers, Calvin Coolidge (Michelle) Jefferson, III, Dylan (Julia) Jefferson, Kameron Walker, Craig Old Crow, John (Angie) Cummins and Thomas (Audrey) Cummins; sisters, Mary Leda Falls Down, TerryAnna (Pierce) Big Left Hand, Cresentia Cummins, Nina Rose (Helmeg) Hill, Candace Brien, Vaschelle and Traci Chandler; uncles, Myron (Victoria) Falls Down, Sr., Greg (Dorcella) Half, Scott (Lauren) Medicine Horse, Duwayne (Linda) Birdinground, Greg (Christine) and Darin (Anne) Williams, Dexter (Roxanne) and William (Donna) Falls Down, Jim Tushka, Jr. and Michael (Anna) Old Crane; aunts, Melissa Falls Down, Norma Falls Down, Marlene Falls Down, Myrna Medicine Horse, Twyla (Wesley Stewart) Birdinground, Lynn, Kaylene (John Adams) and Jewel Tushka (Vincent Crooked Arm), Mikki (George) Riddle, Pansy (Sonny) Yellowmule, and Leda Falls Down; her nieces, Sharla (Joseph) Buffalo, III and Autumn Jefferson; and good friends, Beth Leone Dawes, Zeldine “KK” Tartsah, Elcha Adams, Elizabeth “Biz” Doporto, Jaz Bird, Olivia Plain Bull, and Kortnie Eldridge.
